So first and foremost, let’s clear the elephant in the room! The beautiful super gorg copper vessel used to serve the Moscow Mule is too fly not to try and replicate this at home or order while your out! We were doing some research and we came across the cutesyiest website called A Beautiful Mess ran by two cuties! Their recipe for this Moscow Mule was super simple and classic and we love the little extras they provided about this classic cocktail! Try it! Don’t forget to tag us if you make the recipe.
Moscow Mule, serves one
- Ginger Beer (The Team at A Beautiful Mess likes Goslings, Fentimans and Fever Tree best)
In a glass with ice, combine 2 ounces vodka, juice of half a lime and top it off with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime slice and serve in a copper mug if you want to be all fancy!
There are other variations of the Moscow Mule that I also love. If you substitute the vodka for rum, it’s called a Dark and Stormy. It’s slightly sweeter and really good. If you substitute the vodka for bourbon, it’s called a Kentucky Mule. I guess it really just depends on which spirit you like best. I’m normally a bourbon girl, but with this drink, I almost always stick with the classic vodka recipe. 🙂 I’d love to hear if you’ve tried any other variations that you enjoyed!
