The Christmas Waltz – the tale of a classic remix

With all the talk about Trump and Elections and Russia and Putin and Spying and hacking we almost didn’t want to add this recipe to the mix but since Hudson & Grey did such an incredible job remixing it and not to mention it tastes so good we didn’t want to take our frustration out on the cocktails! This Unique Recipe Named “The Christmas Waltz” Was adapted by a fellow blogger by the name of OCELIAHUDSON from Hudson & Grey We love this classic twist and the images are stunning! 

To make this festive twist on a classic you will need:

  • A gram-cracker
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Marshmallows
  • 2 oz Milk
  • 2 oz Coffee Liquor
  • 1 oz  Vodka

Grab two small plates. Crush your gram-cracker into tiny crumbs on one of them and draw a ring with the chocolate syrup on the other. First dip the rim of your cocktail glass into the ring of chocolate syrup and then into the crushed gram crackers.

Place the desired number of marshmallows onto a small “tray” you fashion out of tin foil. Put those marshmallows into your toaster oven on high until they reach that perfect level of golden brown.

While you are keeping one eye on your toasting marshmallows fill your cocktail shaker with ice and pour in your coffee liquor and vodka. Shake vigorously getting the alcohol as cold as possible. Pour into your cocktail glass and top with milk.

Garnish with one perfectly toasted marshmallow straight out of the toaster. Put on your favorite Christmas album and enjoy!
